Some mountains attract the attention of the master scavengers. No, not ravens, but the ‘Chip Thief General’, the bird that'll spot an opportunity for a meal a mile off. Yes, you've guessed it – seagulls. In reality there is no such thing as a seagull, just lots of different species of gull. In the mountains it's more than likely going to be what I think is the most striking of this family, the herring gull.
