Follow the path and take a left at the cairn to Great Dodd to follow a series of summits (The Dodds) south on an obvious path, ignoring any left or right paths crossing you. Take the path right (south-west), passing cairns to reach the drops into Keppel & Brown Cove. Handrail the broad edge, keeping the coves to your left and walk up towards a cairn.
