DON’T forget a field guide Collins Wild Flower Guide is comprehensive. If you’re just getting started, Scottish Wild Flowers (Mini Guide) by Michael Scott and the FSC Flowers of Hills and Heathlands fold-out-guide are both good for more common plants.
