近年環保意識抬頭，各國政府開始制定、探討相關法律和議題，同時企業對於環保的態度開始影響消費者的購買行為。因此，環境、社會、公司治理（ESG）躍升成為熱門議題，除了能夠提供企業未來策略上的方針指引，愈來愈多投資者也逐漸將ESG 納入自身投資考量。 根據聯合國責任投資原則組織（Principles for Responsible Investment）2021 年的研究，世界各國ESG 相關法規數量呈現快速增長，不僅顯現出執政者認同ESG 與企業長期成長潛力有緊密的關聯性，更凸顯了它在資本市場逐漸成為必要元素。 相關法規數量的增加也讓大眾更重視環保議題。根據世界經濟論壇《2020全球風險報告》，多數受訪者認為環境風險將比過去嚴峻，已成為當前全球必須面對的課題；滙豐資產管理《2020永續投資調查》顯示，大部分投資者及企業發行人認為新冠病毒肺炎大流行使他們更關注、重視ESG。 種種研究結果顯示，永續發展意識崛起，為ESG帶來不斷上升的熱度，而企業在ESG方面的表現與其財務表現呈正向關係，相對穩定的營運表現也將為其帶來更高的競爭力，企業應力求永續經營，實踐其社會責任，讓環保內化成為企業使命。…
