転んでも這い上がり続けた33年 1985年に始まったトヨタのル・マン24時間レースへの挑戦。頂点を極めるまでには33年という長い月日が必要だった。その歴史のなかでは５回もの２位を経験しただけでなく、トップ快走中、それも残り３分というところで優勝を失うという絶望的なできごともあった。「もうトヨタは勝てない」。そんな声も聞かれるようになる。それでもチャレンジを止めることなく前進を続けていた彼らに、“その時”は来た。
