Usher to perform at Super Bowl

The NFL (National Football League) has announced that award-winning pop/R&B artist Usher will headline the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show. It is set to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, on February 11 and will air live on CBS. Usher, whose full name is Usher Raymond, has been called “the King of R&B.” He sang in his church choir as a child and signed his first recording contract at age 14. He has won eight Grammys (top music award), and his hit singles include the songs “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love,” “Yeah!,” and “OMG.” Playing the halftime show is a big honor in the music world.
