Meteorology is the study of the atmosphere and its phenomena. It focuses on the lowest parts of Earth’s atmosphere, such as the troposphere, where most of the processes of weather take place. People have been trying to predict and understand weather for centuries because it affects many aspects of life on Earth, from what we wear to the activities we do.
