A Harry Potter fan has created her own wizarding world with collectibles that are worth about $100,000. Carla Rodriguez of Maryland has spent six years collecting books, clocks, clothes, figures, jewelry, toys, wands, and a rug. She fell in love with author J.K. Rowling’s fantasy world while decorating her young son’s bedroom in 2016. Since then, her collection has grown to 1,000 items—including a necklace worth more than $7,000—and now fills one whole room in her house. *Fake! These ants are not real. They are part of an exhibition, Crawly Creatures, about people’s changing attitudes toward animals like ants, snakes, spiders, and toads. The show is open at the Rijksmuseum until January 2023.…
