A face mask that detects viruses

Scientists in China have developed a mask that can detect SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Covid-19. Airborne respiratory viruses are spread by coughing and sneezing. Even if someone does not seem sick, they can spread virus droplets unknowingly. The mask has a sensor that will recognize even the tiniest viral droplet within 10 minutes of exposure.
