NWSL wraps regular season

On November 3, the 2024 NWSL (National Women’s Soccer League) regular season came to an exciting end. Heading into Decision Weekend, six teams (including the Orlando Pride, the best team this season) had already clinched playoff spots, but many matches were still important. Three teams were competing for the final two postseason openings, and much of the playoff seeding was still undetermined. One crucial match on November 1 was between the Portland Thorns and Angel City FC. The Thorns, who needed to win or tie to make the playoffs, came through with a 3–0 victory.
