LA Dodgers win the World Series

On October 30, the Los Angeles Dodgers won Major League Baseball’s World Series for the eighth time in the franchise’s history. They beat the New York Yankees, 4–1, in a best-of-seven series. The last time the Dodgers were the champions was in 2020. During the regular season, the Dodgers were the best team in the National League (NL) and the Yankees were the best in the American League (AL). Each team also had a player who hit more than 50 home runs: the Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani and the Yankees’ Aaron Judge.
