Record voter turnout in Georgia

A record number of people have turned up for early voting in Georgia, taking place from October 15 to November 1. More than 300,000 people cast their vote on the first day, easily surpassing the state’s previous record of about 137,000 people. By October 18, more than 907,000 voters had cast a ballot in person and more than 52,000 through absentee voting.
