Raising funds for Helene

“We saw the news about Hurricane Helene and wanted to help. We decided to hold a bake sale to raise money for supplies for people in western North Carolina, one of the affected areas. On our day off from school, we baked cookies and brownies and sold them on our street corner. Our original goal was $300, but with so much support from the community, we raised a total of $1,162!
