Exciting weekend at Penn Relays

The Penn Relays, the oldest track and field competition in the US, took place from April 25 to April 27. It was held at Franklin Field at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. There were more than 400 events and over 15,000 participants, including high school and college students, elite athletes, and Special Olympians (athletes with intellectual disabilities). Some of the events were for Championship of America titles. On the first day, girls from the Bullis School in Maryland broke their own US national high school record in the 4x400 meter relay. Later, girls from Union Catholic High School in New Jersey shattered the national record in the 4x800 relay.
