A connection to dinosaurs

In an extremely rare find, scientists studying a site in Brazil discovered footprints from multiple dinosaur species located two to four inches away from human-made rock carvings. The footprints are about 140 million years old, while the carvings, called petroglyphs, are between 3,000 and 9,000 years old. Although dinosaurs and humans did not live at the same time, the scientists think the footprints and carvings are connected. “The individuals who crafted the petroglyphs were acutely aware of the footprints, likely selecting the location precisely because of them,” study author Leonardo Troiano told Live Science. “It would have been impossible to overlook their presence.”…
