Three years of war in Ukraine

On February 24, many countries around the world marked the third anniversary of the war in Ukraine, which began when the neighboring country of Russia invaded it. The day arrived as tensions have risen over US support for Ukraine. What has happened during the war? The Russian invasion was the largest military attack in Europe since World War II (1939–1945). Ukraine is an independent nation, but Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin, claimed that it was part of his country. Russia has been launching constant attacks on Ukraine and currently occupies 20% of its land, while Ukraine is defending itself and using drones to attack Russia.
