CLUB SOCCER The final of the UEFA Women’s Champions League, the biggest women’s club soccer tournament in Europe, was played on May 25. FC Barcelona beat Olympique Lyonnais, 2–0, for their second Champions League title in a row and third in four years. It is the fourth trophy the club has earned this season. They also won the Spanish domestic league and domestic cup, as well as the Spanish Supercopa. BASKETBALL In the NBA Eastern Conference Finals, the Boston Celtics finished a four-game sweep of the Indiana Pacers with a 105–102 win on May 27. Celtics star Jaylen Brown was named the Eastern Conference Finals Most Valuable Player. CYCLING Slovenian Tadej Pogacar won the Giro d’Italia, a major cycling race, on May 26, finishing nine minutes and 56 seconds ahead…
