Documents found on President’s property

Lawyers for President Joe Biden, a Democrat, announced on January 9 and January 12 that they had found classified (secret) government documents in Biden’s private office and home. How were the discoveries made? The White House said that Biden’s personal lawyers had located “a small number of documents with classified markings” on November 2 while emptying out his office at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, an organization that studies policy. Lawyers then searched Biden’s other properties. On December 20, they found a “small number” of documents in the garage of his home in Wilmington, Delaware.
