The new documentary series A Real Bug’s Life takes an entertaining look at tiny critters and their amazing lives.

A new National Geographic series inspired by the 1998 animated comedy adventure A Bug’s Life will give viewers a funny, up-close look at the world of insects. A Real Bug’s Life premieres on Disney+ on January 24 with an initial batch of five episodes. The series is narrated by actress, rapper, and comedian Awkwafina (real name: Nora Lum) and was created to get people to “fall in love with bugs,” executive producer Tom Hugh-Jones told The Week Junior. The episodes take place in different locations, such as the city or the jungle, which were chosen to “tell a range of stories about bugs and the different stages in their life cycle,” he said.
