AGE: 21 SPORT: CROSS COUNTRY/TRACK AND FIELD TEAM: UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS Taking off I started running in about third grade. My school had a cross country program. A lot of my friends were doing it, so it was cool to hang out with them after school. Around eighth grade or high school, I really started to get into the sport. Role models I’ve always liked basketball, and my favorite athlete was Kobe Bryant. He was all about showing up every day, giving 110%, and trying to be the best you can be.
