Chloe Chicoine AGE: 20 SPORT: VOLLEYBALL TEAM: PURDUE UNIVERSITY Family history I began playing volleyball in elementary school. My mom played in college, so she kind of pushed me. I was a little uncoordinated at first, but after a few years, I learned to love it and got better. I think individual sports are so hard. Being part of a team takes pressure off and is really fun. Quick thinking Volleyball is fast-paced, and there are many different skills you can get good at. I like that my position, outside hitter, does them all. It keeps you on your toes. Smart mindset Losses are hard, but our season moves so fast. After a disappointing performance, it’s easy to use that fuel to get back to work and continue to get better.…
