Last flight for NASA’s Ingenuity helicopter

After exploring Mars for nearly three years, the NASA helicopter named Ingenuity has embarked on its last mission. On January 25, the US space agency said that at least one of Ingenuity’s blades had been damaged during a landing and it would no longer be able to fly. What is Ingenuity’s history? The helicopter traveled to Mars in 2020 attached to Perseverance, a NASA rover (wheeled robot). Both were sent there with special missions and were controlled by scientists from Earth. Perseverance was created to look for signs of ancient life on Mars and to gather rock samples.
