Illustrator Howard McWilliam creates political cartoons for the cover of The Week, the parent magazine of The Week Junior. Now he’s written and illustrated his first picture book, Just Snow Already!, about a child hoping for snow. He spoke to The Week Junior about his love of drawing. How did drawing become your career? I always enjoyed illustrating, but after college I got a job working as a financial journalist in London, England. I got to know a lot of editors in the office. One day, they were in need of an illustrator for the magazine cover. They knew I had an art background, so they asked if I would do it. I jumped at the chance.
