Raising funds for cancer

“I love reading The Week Junior and wanted to share something I am passionate about. For the past few years, I have been raising funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which treats children with cancer and other illnesses. In 2023, I started a fundraising team with five other girls, and together we raised nearly $8,000 for St. Jude. We came in second place for our efforts. Making an impact is easier than you think! You can reach out to friends and family and encourage them to donate. My friend held a lemonade stand and put her earnings toward this amazing cause.
