Rapper’s new role

NBC Universal has announced that rap icon Snoop Dogg will cover the Olympic Games this summer for the network. Reporting from the host city of Paris, he will attend competitions and interview athletes as well as host segments with sports journalist Mike Tirico. Snoop got his start covering sports in 2021 when he and actor Kevin Hart gave commentary during the Tokyo Olympics for NBC’s Peacock. The rapper said he grew up watching the Olympics and is excited for this year. He promised to bring his “Snoop style to the mix.”…
