Thrilling Australian Open ends

After two weeks of exciting tennis matches, the Australian Open ended on January 29. Played in Melbourne, Australia, it was the first of the four most important international tennis tournaments of the year, known as the Grand Slams. The men’s singles final featured fourth seed Novak Djokovic of Serbia and third seed Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece. It was a close match that went to tie-breaks in two sets, but Djokovic won, 6–3, 7–6 (4), 7–6 (5). He earned his tenth Australian Open title and the 22nd Grand Slam victory of his career.
