Coach is promoted

Ronnie Gajownik has been named manager of the Hillsboro Hops, a minor league baseball team of the Arizona Diamondbacks, a Major League Baseball team. This makes her the first female manager in the organization’s history and the first to manage a team at the High-A level, the minor league’s third highest level. Previously, she was a coach for the Diamondbacks. She told MLB.com she hopes all the young girls watching see that “if you’re qualified, you can go ahead and do whatever it is you’re passionate about.”…
