Gigantic drawing honors diversity A Nigerian artist and doctor celebrated his country with a record-breaking work of art. After traveling around Nigeria, Fola David-Tolaram spent six days drawing a map of the country filled with images of the people, clothing, food, music, and festivals of Nigeria’s many cultures. Measuring 10,814 square feet—nearly the size of four tennis courts put together—his creation, The Unity of Diversity, is the world’s largest drawing by an individual.
