When I got to elementary school, we had cross-country ski lessons there. I used to figure skate, but I stopped around age 12 and switched to skiing. My brother was involved with racing and he really liked it. In 2019, I qualified for my first Junior World Ski Championships. It was awesome to get to race for Canada at a high level against people who are the best in their country. Happy place Skiing is a nice way to be outside, connect with nature, and be active.
