NASA delays Artemis missions

The US space agency, NASA, said its Artemis mission to orbit four astronauts around the Moon will be pushed back from 2025 to 2026. The second Artemis mission to land astronauts on the Moon’s South Pole was also rescheduled from 2026 to 2027. The delays were due to safety concerns related to the capsule’s heat shield, which returned from a test flight with cracks. “We need to do it right,” said Bill Nelson, the head of NASA.…
