The famous naturalist Jane Goodall has led her fascinating life in nature.

Jane Goodall, age 90, is a trailblazing animal behavior scientist and environmental activist. Her firsthand research on wild chimpanzees changed the world’s understanding of them. Early life Jane Goodall was born Valerie Jane Morris-Goodall on April 3, 1934, in London, England. As a child, she brought earthworms into her bedroom, spent hours at her family’s henhouse, and dreamed of one day living among animals. When she grew up, she worked as a secretary, waitress, and film production assistant to save money so she could visit Africa. At age 23, she was invited to a friend’s family farm in Kenya.
