Movie monsters team up in film

In 2021, two of the film world’s most famous giant monsters, Godzilla and King Kong, battled each other in the action-adventure Godzilla vs. King Kong. In a new sequel, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, they battle a common enemy. The film, which is rated PG-13 for violence, is out now in theaters and IMAX. Godzilla is a dinosaur that was mutated (changed) by nuclear waste. He first appeared in 1954 in a Japanese horror film and has starred in many giant monster films, which are part of the Japanese sci-fi genre kaiju. His first US film came out in 1998. King Kong is a famous giant ape who made his debut in a 1933 Hollywood film. The pair originally met in the 1962 Japanese film King Kong vs. Godzilla.…
