Beyoncé releases new album

The music superstar has gone country with Cowboy Carter, featuring hit songs “Texas Hold ’Em”and “16 Carriages.”

Back in February, Beyoncé, one of the world’s most successful pop and R&B stars, surprised fans by revealing she had made an album of country songs. She released two singles from it at the time, and now the highly anticipated album, Cowboy Carter, has arrived. This is the eighth solo studio album from the singer, whose full name is Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, and a follow-up to her 2022 hit album Renaissance. She won four Grammys (top music award) for Renaissance in 2023, helping her set the record for the most Grammys of all time, with 32 wins.
