US skaters make history at Worlds

From March 18 to March 24, the 2024 International Skating Union (ISU) World Figure Skating Championships were held in Montreal, Canada. The best skaters from around the globe competed in four events: men’s singles, women’s singles, pairs, and ice dance. The competition is considered the most prestigious annual event in figure skating. US skaters made history at Worlds by winning two gold medals for the first time since 1996. The champions were Ilia Malinin, who won his first world title in men’s singles, and ice dancers Madison Chock and Evan Bates.
