Craft a working catapult

What you need • 10 wide craft sticks (also called tongue depressors) • 5 rubber bands • Recycled plastic bottle cap • Hot glue and gun • Marshmallow or pom-pom Instructions 1. Stack eight of the craft sticks on top of one another. Wrap a rubber band around the stack of sticks about ½ inch from one end to secure them together. Then repeat with another rubber band about ½ inch from the other end. 2. Take the two remaining craft sticks and place one underneath the stack and one on top to make a cross-like shape (see photo). Use two rubber bands, diagonally over the middle, to hold these two craft sticks in place. 3. Slide the top and bottom sticks so one end sticks out about 2 inches.…
