Who’s on an air ambulance team?

Kate, doctor Kate is with the East Anglian Air Ambulance. She’s trained in intensive care and emergency medicine and works with the paramedics to provide critical care. She says helping others is an “enormous privilege”. Vicki, paramedic Vicki worked with horses before she trained to be a paramedic and has been with Great Western Air Ambulance Charity since 2012. Earlier this year, she was given a special award called the King’s Ambulance Service Medal. Mark, helicopter pilot Mark has been a helicopter pilot at Essex & Herts Air Ambulance for nearly 10 years. He has always wanted to fly helicopters and chose this job because he said he “can’t think of a better use for a helicopter than to help people and save lives”.…
