Children’s plinth unveiled

On 3 October, London’s “Children’s Plinth” (a platform with art on it) was shown for the first time. The plinth is at St Martin-in-the-Fields, a church on the edge of Trafalgar Square. The vase on top of the new plinth was designed by 15-year-old Mila Punwar and features a picture of Laika, the first dog to go into space. Two other winning works, Autumn, by Harlow Sipe and Creature by Rawdah Bdeir, will also be displayed at the historic church.…
