On 6 November, as The Week Junior went to press, Donald Trump was declared the winner of the US presidential election. Although not all the votes had been counted, enough had gone to Trump to make him the winner. It could take weeks before all US states officially confirm their election results. Donald Trump was standing for the Republican Party and his opponent, Kamala Harris, represented the Democratic Party. For the last few weeks, both candidates had been visiting lots of states to try to win votes.
