A royal tour

King Charles and Queen Camilla visited Australia and Samoa during a royal tour from 18 to 26 October. The king took part in more than 30 events, including a visit to Sydney Opera House, where around 10,000 people gathered. Australia is an independent country but the British monarch (King Charles) is its official head of state. Some people aren’t happy about this. There were some protests during the tour, including one at Parliament House where an indigenous politician told the King, “This is not your country”.
