Baking by her dad’s side

Kitty Tait, aged 17, is a baker from Watlington in Oxfordshire, England. Kitty and her dad Al run the Orange Bakery, one of the town’s few places to eat. Locals love the bakery and describe it as the heartbeat of Watlington. Kitty and her dad have published a cookbook, Breadsong, which tells the story of how the bakery was created. They didn’t plan to set up a business but when they started baking as a hobby they ended up with so much bread they started selling it. “Bread, just like Dad, will always just be a part of me,” Kitty told The Observer newspaper.…
