New exhibition explores the science behind the TV series Doctor Who.

Doctor Who’s TARDIS (Time and Relative Dimension in Space) has travelled through time and space but fans will be particularly excited to see it arrive at the World Museum Liverpool, in England. There, fans will find the Doctor Who Worlds of Wonder: Where Science Meets Fiction exhibition, an interactive look at the science behind the show. Visitors will encounter planets explored by the Doctor, and come face to face with characters and monsters that featured throughout the many series. The first episode of Doctor Who was broadcast on television in 1963, almost 60 years ago, making it the longest running science-fiction show in the world. The exhibition has eight zones to explore.
