The actor taking on school bullies

Actor Will Poulter wants to inspire young people.

For 11 years, Will Poulter has been involved in anti-bullying work with a charity called the Diana Award. Poulter is a British actor who has starred in films including The Chronicles of Narnia and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The Diana Award was set up in memory of Princess Diana, who died in 1997. It aims to change the attitudes and culture that let bullying happen. Poulter told The Week Junior that he was bullied at school. Luckily, a teacher launched an anti-bullying programme that inspired him. “She was able to meet the needs of students who were experiencing bullying, and make the school a safer, happier environment through mentoring,” Poulter said.
