Monster mystery’s sweet solution

Shortly after watching the animated film Monsters, Inc. three-year-old Saylor Class complained that she could hear monsters in the wall of her bedroom. Her parents thought it was just her imagination – but Saylor was absolutely sure that something strange had moved in. After a while, her mum noticed bees swarming outside their house in North Carolina, US. The family called in a beekeeper to investigate, who found that around 60,000 bees had built a huge hive in the attic above Saylor’s bedroom. They had made so much honey that it damaged the house’s electrical wiring. The beekeeper took the bees away to a special honeybee sanctuary where they will be safe.…
