New Lion King trailer released

On 29 April, the Mufasa: The Lion King trailer came out, and the Disney film’s voice cast was revealed. Beyoncé returns as Queen Nala, whom she played in the 2019 The Lion King film. Her 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, will play Kiara, Queen Nala’s daughter. Mufasa: The Lion King’s director, Barry Jenkins, said he came up with the idea to cast the mother-daughter pair. He said he first heard Blue Ivy on an audiobook, and he could “hear that Blue could play this character”. The film explores Mufasa’s childhood and relationship with his brother Scar. Mufasa: The Lion King will mix live-action film-making with computer-generated imagery (CGI) and is due to be in cinemas in December.…
