Becoming a voice actor

Actor Tara Strong has voiced lots of other characters, including Bubbles from The Powerpuff Girls and Princess Twilight Sparkle in My Little Pony. She knew she wanted to be a singer, dancer or actress from the age of three and while she was growing up, she did as many singing and acting classes as she could. Her first lead voice acting job, at 13 years old, was the title role in Hello Kitty’s Furry Tale Theater. She didn’t always know that voice acting would be the main type of acting she would do, but she loves it. Strong said that people who work in the animation industry are really supportive and fun, and best of all, “I get to work in my pyjamas most days.”…
