New campaign to support nature

A national campaign is calling on the public to A “go wild once a week” to help nature in the UK. Going wild could involve planting wildflowers, creating hedgehog highways or volunteering for an environmental project. The campaign, called Save Our Wild Isles, is led by three big charities: the World Wide Fund for Nature, the National Trust and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB). They are using Sir David Attenborough’s TV series Wild Isles to encourage people to take action.
