Craft a flying dragon

On 1 March it is St David’s Day, a day to celebrate Wales and all things Welsh. St David was born around AD500 in Wales and was a Christian preacher who reportedly performed miracles. On St David’s Day, flags are flown and Welsh music is played. Children often go to school wearing traditional Welsh clothes or pin a daffodil or a leek to their chest – both of which are symbols of Wales. Another symbol of Wales is the red dragon: “Y Ddraig Goch” in Welsh, as seen on the country’s flag. Here are six steps to making your own flying dragon.
