Learn about the creativity of the ancient Egyptians at the Young V&A.

The Young V&A, a museum in London for children, has opened a brand new exhibition all about creativity in ancient Egypt. It takes visitors on a journey from thousands of years ago to today to show how the ancient Egyptians have shaped art, design and popular culture. Making Egypt is divided into three sections. In Storytelling, visitors can learn about ancient Egyptian gods and the myths about them. Communicating reveals how stories used to be told through writing and artwork. Finally, Making looks at how the Egyptians built and crafted objects. Throughout the exhibition, visitors can test their knowledge of hieroglyphs (the ancient Egyptian writing system), learn how to draw like Egyptians used to, and even take a quiz to find out which god they most resemble.
