Spot a stag beetle The People’s Trust for Endangered Species (PTES), a wildlife charity, is asking for volunteers around Britain to record any stag beetles that they spot as part of their annual survey, the Great Stag Hunt. Stag beetle populations have been declining in recent years across Europe, and they are even extinct in some areas of Britain. The survey will help PTES to identify where stag beetles are living and in which areas they need help and protection.
