Tudor prayer book found

Researchers have identified a prayer book that belonged to Thomas Cromwell, who was an adviser to King Henry VIII. Cromwell, who died in 1540, used it for his daily prayers. It has been in the Wren Library in Cambridge, England, for 363 years, but experts had not realised it belonged to Cromwell until now. Hans Holbein the younger, a 16th century artist, painted a famous picture of Cromwell with the prayer book, which helped researchers to recognise it.…
